My story
My name is Mariella Fernandes. I taught at Whitewater Middle for more than ten years. I am one of the full time certified ELL teachers at J.M. Alexander Middle. I am originally from Guatemala. My undergraduate degree is Bilingual Education. I have two Master's degrees, one in the Arts of Teaching English as a Second Language, and one more in Teaching English through Technology. I have worked with ELLs ranking from Kindergarten to adults, but my current grade levels are 6th, 7th and 8th grades. This is my 32nd year of teaching MLs.
